Wonder Woman gives the superhero genre an expectation for what movies in the genre should be like in the future. Director Patty Jenkins did an amazing job taking Wonder Woman’s origin story and turning it into an empowering story overall. The cinematography was little choppy at times, but it was very visually appealing. The WWI setting was shocking, yet refreshing and realistic to show women were portrayed back then. (Note: Wonder Woman was created during World War II)  Excellent performances from Gal Gadot, Robin Wright, Chris Pine bring the story to life and make the audience believe that they are the characters on-screen. Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman brings to life hope for a better DCEU. I did really enjoy Wonder Woman over all of the DC films that came out so far. I do highly recommend watching in theaters if you can.

Please let me know you think about Wonder Woman. Leave a comment so we can discussion about Wonder Woman and how the DCEU will look in the future.
