So for those of you who, like me, didn’t attend any midnight store openings for the ‘Breaking Dawn: Part 1‘ DVD/Blu-ray release – have no fear! The exclusive ‘Breaking Dawn: Part 1‘ clip that debuted tonight in select Target stores only has already leaked on-line, to no one’s surprise. This video will probably be deleted by the time you wake up and see this, so here’s a run down:
First there is a ‘sneak peak’ at some Behind-The-Scenes footage from shooting ‘Breaking Dawn: Part 2‘. The actual scene shown takes place in the cottage just after Bella discovers the note Alice left her before running away with Jasper.
Not that I was expecting them to show us anything that we were looking forward to, but this clip is pretty uneventful and boring and didn’t really generate any excitement inside of my for ‘Breaking Dawn: Part 2‘. Oh well, I’m sure this is only the beginning and before we know it we’ll be fending off leaked clips and stills left and right on every social network imaginable.
For those of you who don’t feel like making a trek to the store tomorrow for ‘Breaking Dawn: Part 1‘ you can purchase the DVD/Blu-ray on Target.com!
I wanted to take a moment and thank everyone who has read PFG since it’s first post in August – even if you’ve only been here once you’ve helped motivate me to keep going out (even in the cold!) so I have new and exciting posts for you as often as possible! Thanks to PFG I was able to take on some pretty cool things in the last half of 2011, so I think 2012 is looking VERY promising.
Some things to look forward to? Awards season (first up after the holidays!), THE HUNGER GAMES (!!!!!), One Direction‘s first American tour opening for Big Time Rush (can. not. wait.), Darren Criss on Broadway followed by Nick Jonas, the final Twilight movie (SOB.), The Avengers… so many other epic movies coming in 2012 it’s not even funny.
I look forward to sharing all of the excitement with you!
A little over a week ago June & I took a drive up to Mohegan Sun in Connecticut for a Diva Friday (yes, they actually call it that…) event: Charlie Bewley & Bronson Pelletier were doing a signing! Since Charlie is June’s #1 it was pretty much a done deal as soon as we heard about it, and sure enough there we were on Friday evening leaving the city in June‘s car and headed to the wonderful world of Guam – aka anywhere outside of NYC.
On our way up we skipped dinner because the signing started at 8PM and we were sure after some traffic that we might be late and didn’t want to take any chances. Unfortunately we weren’t the ones who were late - Charlie & Bronson were! Apparently there had been an issue and either their flight was delayed or their plane got detained after landing, I don’t know, but they ended up not starting the signing until around 9PM while June & I ate Godiva for dinner. The guys did a quick photo shoot and interview in the hotel lobby first which we got to watch, and once they were done they said a quick hello to us before we all headed down to the signing. Charlie is one of the few celebrities who actually remembers me (!!!) and this is all thanks to his and June‘s Twitter friendship (though we prefer to call it a relationship). It’s nice when they remember you because then (if they are nice and have not been scared off by you being too creepy) they will be the ones to come and say hi to you first, which cuts down on the awkward moment of having to approach them. It was also extra awesome because I finally got to meet Bronson, who I’ve never met and is my second favorite wolf pack member, and he high fived me. We’re in love now.
Mohegan handed out 4×6 head shots of both actors to everyone on line for them to sign and also told us all there wouldn’t be any time for pictures. Instant sad face! June & I hung out on the back of the line until it was our turn to get our pictures signed and we spent a little too long chatting with the guys at the table and one of their handlers yelled at Charlie to move along (you should have seen him and June swooning over each other, it was magical), and we had to move on. Their friend told us they would be doing a short appearance at the Tuscany bar in the shops though so after a quick shoe-change we bee-lined to the bar and waited. Waited. Waited some more.
Finally the guys came and had a quick dinner, followed by a quick appearance at the DJ booth. We got the chance to chat with Charlie a bit at the bar before they went to the DJ which was nice, and then when they were leaving we got to chat with Charlie a bit more while Bronson got swarmed by fans after not leaving the bar quick enough. June and I took quick pictures with Charlie before anyone else could realize he had run off, and once Bronson was free from the wrath of the bar patrons he took quick pictures with us as well. They hosted an event at the club in Mohegan as well, but we skipped that and headed home. I kind of hate clubs.

So if you’ve been following my Breaking Dawn weekend posts you knew that Ashley Greene was coming up next! As previously mentioned, Ashley joined fellow cast members Jackson Rathbone and Nikki Reed at the Today Show this week for a quick interview. Ashley was second to arrive at the studio and sweet enough to stop for pictures with Brian, June and I but was running a little late and so at her suggestion June and I took our picture with her together. Clearly we are all BFF’s by the looks of it, no?
I was really excited when Ashley , Jackson, and Nikki hit the plaza to greet waiting fans because I got the chance to take a solo shot with her which came out just as cute as our group picture above. Ashley is too gorgeous in person! She’s tall, she’s skinny, she’s got pretty hair. Life is incredible amounts of not fair to those of us who photographed next to her, that’s for sure. I’ve also never seen anyone be SO camera ready. I think she has camera radar, actually. She was ready as soon as she got out of her car and was really polite to the waiting photographers, and in the plaza not only was she posing for pictures with fans but she was also posing for pictures as she signed autographs if she noticed anyone taking pictures. It was pretty impressive!
Today is the third day of Breaking Dawn‘s opening weekend and as of right now they are slated to take in $139 million for the weekend which is the 5th all time highest opening weekend in box office history…. and that is only if there isn’t a huge spike in ticket sales for screenings today which would boost it even higher. Insane! The power of Twilight compels you.

As I mentioned in my Nikki Reed post yesterday, Jackson Rathbone along with Ashley Greene were also at the Today Show to help promote Breaking Dawn this week! Jackson actually arrived a few minutes late after Nikki and Ashley so he had to rush inside the studio to get ready for their interview, but once they all came out into the plaza before their interview he was excited to sign autographs and take pictures with all of the fans! I’ve actually (technically) met Jackson before, when 100 Monkeys (his awesome band!) did a VIP show at Angels & Kings which included a pre-performance autograph signing. This was my first time meeting him one-on-one and he was especially awesome after we took our first picture and it turned out that my camera had been zoomed in and it was basically just a picture of our foreheads up close, because I showed him my camera and he let me have a re-do. That picture has obviously not made the cut for this post!
I usually don’t post on Saturdays but since it’s Breaking Dawn‘s opening weekend I figured I would keep up with the cast posts! Tomorrow I will have up my pictures of and with Ashley Greene – so stay tuned!
Did you watch the cast on The Ellen Show yesterday? She is always so hilarious with her guests – I loved the little improv “scene” they did at the end. Jackson’s one line was HILARIOUS! Check it out below:

Today is the official release day of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1 and it did not come without some hard work from the cast! Last week Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner were in town to promote, but this week while they took the reins internationally we had some of the Cullens in town to help pick up where they left off. On Wednesday morning Nikki Reed, Ashley Greene, and Jackson Rathbone were guests on the Today Show (which is slowly becoming my own personal celebrity goldmine, if you have not noticed) and I was of course there to snag pictures and video! Nikki Reed was first to arrive, with husband Paul McDonald by her side, and as always she was sweet as could be. I met Nikki Reed last year for the first time while she was promoting Eclipse on Regis & Kelly and I couldn’t believe how genuine she was. And GORGEOUS! I think she gets a lot of unwarranted flack by a large group of fans who are blinded by fan-favorite bias, and that is really unfortunate because they are missing out on an incredible human being who takes very good care of her fans. I’ve witnessed her tell paparazzi and autograph sellers to back off so that she could meet with her fans first, and sign for her fans first, and it’s rare that you see a celebrity do that on their own. Usually security does that and the celebrity just wants to sign and be done with it. Nikki was just as accommodating to her fans this time around not only when she arrived, but also when she hit the plaza with Ashley and Jackson. I will put up the pictures of Ashley & Jackson this weekend!

I know, I know, I know. I’m a day late. Sometimes Throwback Thursday actually happens on Friday because I am a major, major slacker. One of these days I’m going to figure out how to cheat the system and back date posts so that you don’t know I am epic blog failure.
Keeping up with my promised theme for the month of November, here is Twilight cast member and resident Volturi vampire himself Charlie Bewley! The first time we met Charlie was not when this picture was taken. The first time we met Charlie was after we slept on the ground in the parking lot of the Cherry Hill Mall in New Jersey listening to Hot Topic employees conduct a really poor game of Twilight trivia, only to buy passes to a meet & greet with Charlie Bewley and Daniel Cudmore a few days later. Thankfully we were well rested for our actual meet and greet, which was most exciting for June because Charlie is her Twilight #1, but it was a very quick greeting with a signed poster in Hot Topic followed by a Q&A in the common space of the mall. It was brief but it was fun and exciting and we were pleased that we got to see Charlie & Daniel because we figured we wouldn’t have many other chances to do so. We were so, so, so, so, so wrong.
A couple of weeks later while the Twilight cast was in NYC to promote and premiere New Moon and I was on a mission to meet Taylor Lautner for the very first time (which didn’t really work out, but I DID get to see him in person for the first time, so it was okay!) we had a very random, very exciting, very casual and unplanned run-in with none other than Charlie Bewley. June almost died. I actually had to force her to get out of the car when we saw him, because she almost didn’t. And I have to say for such a random, random, random run-in Charlie couldn’t have been sweeter. In fact he was with two friends, and we later found out that there was a New Moon cast party happening INSIDE the building we met him outside of so our heads exploded the next day at the proximity to greatness. We spent a good half hour or so just chatting with Charlie and his friends that night and I don’t think I’ve had such a casually epic encounter since. This picture is just one of the handful we ended up taking before leaving! We see Charlie every now and again when he’s in town promoting himself and other things and he is always just as sweet to June & I (especially June though!) every time he sees us which makes him one of my faves as well.
Aside from Twilight, Charlie is also in the recently released (and also INCREDIBLE) film ‘Like Crazy‘ with Anton Yelchin & Felicity Jones that you should definitely, definitely go see. I am also hoping we get to see more from the “Astoria Ent” project he has been working on with Matt Dallas and Steven Grahym soon!
Next week will be the last Throwback Thursday for Breaking Dawn month, and as promised it will be a human! You’ve gotten a Cullen, a wolf, and a Volturi. Stay tuned!

Alright, I know what you’re probably thinking. “This bitch is obsessed!” And you know what? You are 125% correct. I am completely obsessed, although I prefer the word infatuated. It sounds more romantic, right? I think if Taylor & I’s story is ever turned into a romantic comedy the title will be Infatuated. Although there is probably a Lifetime movie with that title, so maybe I should just quit while I’m ahead…
ANYWAY! I didn’t expect Taylor Lautner to come back so soon and hit the talk show circuit but it looks like I was wrong, and thankfully so. Taylor was back in town for a very short period of time to hit up the Today Show and Regis & Kelly to help promote Breaking Dawn which is in theaters this Friday (11/18!), and I made sure to plant my butt in line at the Today Show bright and early for a chance to see him again. It’s a rare occasion that I go out so frequently for the same celebrity – usually I meet them once and I am pleased as punch about it. But Taylor is my favorite. What my friends and I like to call “#1″ – Taylor is my #1. And I have to tell you that he is also hands down, no questions asked, the nicest human being on the face of this planet. I like to tell my friends that he is an enabler, because every time I meet him and he remembers me he always seems so excited to see me. I am sure I’m not the only one who gets this, but I’m sure it’s also very hard for someone like Taylor who meets hundreds (if not thousands) of fans during a single press tour to remember one single, solitary fan so often.I’m aware of how fortunate I am and will be eternally grateful to Taylor for being so kind to me!
When Taylor saw me at the Today Show he said hello, asked me how I was, and told me how great it was to see me again. I’m noticing that each time I see him I say a little bit more… like I’m very, very slowly warming up to him. This time I was able to say more than just “Hi, can I have a picture with you?”, and instead was able to say hi, ask for a picture, and ask him to sign my picture from last time (see below). He asked me for my name for the first time (!!!) and I told him, and then he signed the following:
LAUREN – GREAT SEEING YOU! – Tay
IS THAT NOT THE GREATEST THING YOU’VE EVER SEEN?! While he signed it not only did I gasp in awe, but so did all three of my friends who were standing next to me. I actually saw them all collectively gasp from the corner of my eye. It was the most magical moment I think I’ve ever had. Not to bring any of his ex’s into this, but I’m pretty sure that moment was exactly what Taylor Swift feels every time she makes eye contact with a boy. She gets to go write epic songs about it, and I get to make epic blogs.
I have no idea what we were chatting about, but I do have to point out that this was shortly after he declared his love for Lauren. You heard it here first. Taylor and Lauren are in love. Sort of. Enough for music to swell every time I see them interacting.
See, so it’s not just me. This is not just me being delusional. And in honor of music swelling, I’ve put together a small playlist of songs that in fact do swell every time I get to interact with Taylor. (Well, in my mind, at least.)
So the three big Twilight stars got their signatures, hand prints and foot prints in cement today at Hollywood’s legendary Chinese Theater. People flew from all over the place, as they usually do for a Twilight related event, and got to watch their favorite vampire, werewolf, and human (well… until November 18th) go through the process which actually looked like a lot of fun. My favorite picture is from when Kristen took both of the guys hands after they pressed them in cement, though it would have been an even better moment if their hands had gotten stuck together.
There’s a whole lot of Breaking Dawn promotion going on, which is really exciting, but I’m sort of annoyed that everyone is treating this like it’s the last one. It’s not. We still have to go through this again exactly one year from now! This is the beginning of the end, sadly, but not the end just yet. And admittedly I finally bought my midnight tickets this week… TWO WEEKS!
