Rant: Quantity Over Quality/ Teen Choice Awards 2017

So the Teen Choice Awards are finally over, but there is still some controversy from fans of specific fandoms about their specific nominee(s) not winning their award(s). Also, some are saying the voting systems are rigged due to the final vote comes to the producers’ choice.

I am not saying that I believe what they are saying, but there is some truth to that rumor.

For example, Riverdale (which is a TV show that I will never cover on this blog due to not being decently made show and I consider it a teen drama) won almost all the awards that they were nominated for.

If it is true that the Teen Choice Awards is actually doing this, this is wrong at so many levels when it comes to viewership for fandoms of these nominees.

San Diego Comic Con 2017 Predictions

We are officially a week away from the news that we definitely need. Comic-Con International in San Diego, CA (SDCC) is one of the biggest conventions in the world due to the massive number of attendee, celebrity guests for panels and signings, and news & trailers that come from SDCC. A lot of people, including me, have predictions of the geek culture news that will be coming out of SDCC, which happens next month.

Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) – Movie Review

Finally after Spider-Man’s appearance in Captain America: Civil War, we get our first Spider-Man movie that is a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. (Thanks, Sony!!)

There are no spoilers, but only honest opinions ahead.

Spider-Man: Homecoming is the second reboot of the Spider-Man franchise, but unlike the Amazing Spider-Man movies, it has a fresher take on Peter Parker’s life as a hero & the conflicts that he faces as a new hero and as a teen.
