Rob & Kristen Sitting In A Tree… Or On a Balcony

24 May

Every year we wait patiently for the Cannes Film Festival to be over so we know what the hottest thing to come out of it will be. Today we learned that there is no waiting until the end of this years festival – the hottest thing to come out of Cannes this year is this video of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart canoodling on a balcony at the ‘On The Road‘ after party last night. Schwing.

While I do agree this video is adorable, it is no surprise whatsoever. Acting like this video has provided us with brand new information is uncalled for. We’ve known for years that they have been together so if you are just now doing the “FINALLY!” happy dance, you are very tardy to this party.

Now if only they’d walk a red carpet together…

Weirdest. RPattz. Photoshoot. Ever.

10 May

Robert Pattinson, a lady friend, and… Robert Pattinson? Talk about an awkward threesome.

Robert Pattinson covers this years Cannes edition of France’s “Premiere Magazine” and from the looks of it, they certainly did not hold back in an attempt to catch readers attention. While the photoshoot caused a few raised eyebrows and high-pitched squeals from Rob’s extensive online fan base, I have to say that it might actually be one of my favorites. I like an actor that will take risks, even in something as trivial as a photoshoot.

The interview with Rob itself is pretty intense. It seems to go hand-in-hand with the overall feel of “Cosmopolis” which tells me we are in for a real treat as for as promotion goes later this year. Personally, given that I’ve read the novel by Don DeLillo, I am very much looking forward to “Cosmopolis” which will be in theaters in the US this December.

My favorite quote from Robert’s interview is when he is telling a story about being at the wrap party for “Cosmopolis” with director David Cronenberg and discussing what the film was about. Cronenberg quoted Fellini to Rob by asserting that, “A movie is dead when it doesn’t raise questions any more.

Check out more weird shots from the spread below, and read the rest of the interview on Premiere’s official site.

“The Hunger Games” Rips the Rug Out from Under “Twilight”

1 May

I don’t remember the exact quote, but I remember that one of the first things out of my mouth after finally seeing “The Hunger Games” on the big screen was something along the lines of: “Is ‘The Hunger Games‘ eligible for the MTV Movie Awards this year? Because I think ‘Twilight’s streak has ended.”  Last night MTV confirmed that I’ve never been more right in my life.

MTV released the nominations for the 2012 MTV Movie Awards and while “The Hunger Games” is tied with “Bridesmaids” for a whopping 8 nominations among 8 different categories, “Twilight” has only 2 nominations among 2 different categories. This takes them down from 8 nominations in 6 different categories in 2011, where “Twilight” cast members won 5 out of 6 categories they were nominated for.

Most noticeably absent from the “Twilight” nominations are a Best Female Performance nomination for Kristen Stewart (Jennifer Lawrence got one), and Best Male Performance nominations for both Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner (Josh Hutcherson got one). The two categories “Twilight” actually are nominated for are Movie of the Year and Best Kiss – both of which are up against “The Hunger Games“. Will these 2012 MTV Movie Awards categories be as much of a blood bath as the actual Hunger Games?

The good news for “Twilight” fans is that “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire“, the highly anticipated second film in the series, will not be released until November 2013 which leaves room for this years “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2” – the final installment in the “Twilight” franchise – to takeover one last time at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards.

The good news for the rest of us is that the 2012 MTV Movie Awards is a glimpse into the “Twilight“-free future that awaits us all.

Voting for the 2012 MTV Movie Awards started today as of 8am. Head to MTV to start voting NOW!

“Bel Ami” Coming to VOD on May 4th!

3 Apr

The trailer for “Bel Ami” has been on the net for a while now and ever since there have been rumors and speculation about a handful of different release dates and film festival premieres – none of which have been accurate.

It’s finally been confirmed that “Bel Ami” will hit US theaters on June 8th, though how many theaters exactly hasn’t been confirmed just yet. However if you’re a huge Robert Pattinson fan who cannot wait to see the film it turns out that it will be released on VOD (via participating cable providers – check with yours to confirm) on May 4th.

While this may be a good thing for fans, I don’t think this is necessarily a good thing for the film itself. Usually it takes new releases about 3 months to hit VOD.

Regardless I have been looking forward to “Bel Ami” since it was announced and cast, so I will more than likely be renting it on VOD May 4th with the rest of you!

“The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2″ Official Teaser Trailer!

26 Mar

Last week we got the 10 second preview of this teaser, and those of you who saw “The Hunger Games” this weekend got to see the 45 second full length “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2” trailer on the big screen! Now it has officially debuted online for fans to watch over and over and over again to obsess, speculate, water at the mouth, and start pulling their hair out until November.

Okay, maybe that last bit was sort of dramatic… but some TwiHards can be scary like that!

This 45 second teaser trailer is equal parts Kristen Stewart (Bella), Robert Pattinson (Edward), & even Taylor Lautner (Jacob) which is a nice shift from previous installments trailers. It made me wonder what a full length trailer will look like since I have to admit, I wasn’t expecting them to show us so much of vampire Bella in just the teaser.

Also, did you notice Taylor Lautner (Jacob) is wearing the same shirt you see him in at the very end of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1“? It looks like ‘Part 2′ will pick up exactly where it left off – with Kristen Stewart (Bella) waking up a vampire!

What are YOU hoping to see in the full length trailer?

“Cosmopolis” Teaser Trailer is Here!

22 Mar

What a GREAT week to be a Robert Pattinson fan!

First, on Tuesday, you get the 10 second “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2teaser trailer. Then, today, you get the “Cosmopolis” trailer – and it’s a DOOZY!

Those of you who read the book like I did should understand most of the short but awesome clips included in this teaser trailer – but I personally think it will even excite and intrigue those who haven’t, RPattz fans or not!

I am very much looking forward to seeing more from “Cosmopolis” as the year leads up to it’s late release in December. It looks like it is going to be an intense, sexy, dramatic, action-packed film – just like it should be!

“The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2″ Teaser Trailer!

20 Mar

NO WORDS. JUST TAYLOR.

(What a TEASE with that tan thought-it-was-shirtless fitted!)

I have to say I am VERY impressed with Lionsgate. Now that they are handling the Twi-franchise they managed to squeeze out an official 10 second teaser without any advanced notice, and without any leaks. Girl, bye Summit!

The FULL LENGTH ”The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2” trailer will premiere before “The Hunger Games” starting at midnight showings Thursday night everywhere. Get there early & be ready to squeal!

Do you think we’ll get a full length shot of Bella Swan (aka Kristen Stewart as a vampire) in the full length trailer?

Throwback Thursday: 2009′s Compilation Video!

22 Dec

It’s been a while since I’ve done a Throwback Thursday, I know… please forgive my slacking! As the year comes to a close and I am putting together my top moments of 2011 (coming the week after Christmas!!) I decided to share this video I made at the end of 2009. It’s a compilation of video I took throughout the year on sets, at events, concerts, and just goofing off with my homie:

In order of appearance:

Penn Badgley, Taylor Swift, Britney Spears, Leighton Meester & Blake Lively, Jackson Rathbone, Pete Wentz, Kobe Bryant, Hanson, The Edge (U2!), Bobby Long, Charlie Bewley & Daniel Cudmore, Peter Facinelli, Robert Downey Jr., Donnie Wahlberg, Kenan Thompson, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Hanson, Kristen Stewart, Mark Wahlberg & Will Ferrell, Taylor Lautner (x2), Mark Wahlberg, Rachel McAdams, Edi Gathegi, Shia LaBeouf, Jason Schwartzman, Jude Law, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Kellan Lutz, & Kristen Stewart.

PHEW. That was a mouthful. And yes, all footage in this video was taken by yours truly. I also chopped it all up and edited it into this amateur YouTube masterpiece. However I can’t take credit for the soundtrack, that’s all Lady Gaga’s doing. Thanks Mother Monster for creating the #1 fan girl anthem!

Rob, Kristen, & Taylor get handprints at the Chinese Theater!

3 Nov

So the three big Twilight stars got their signatures, hand prints and foot prints in cement today at Hollywood’s legendary Chinese Theater. People flew from all over the place, as they usually do for a Twilight related event, and got to watch their favorite vampire, werewolf, and human (well… until November 18th) go through the process which actually looked like a lot of fun. My favorite picture is from when Kristen took both of the guys hands after they pressed them in cement, though it would have been an even better moment if their hands had gotten stuck together.

There’s a whole lot of Breaking Dawn promotion going on, which is really exciting, but I’m sort of annoyed that everyone is treating this like it’s the last one. It’s not. We still have to go through this again exactly one year from now! This is the beginning of the end, sadly, but not the end just yet. And admittedly I finally bought my midnight tickets this week… TWO WEEKS!
